'Bowie Wong\'s angelic and detailed designs hit New York City during New York Fashion Week in true Bowie style. A crowded outdoor plaza in the middle of the city was the setting for his exclusive single row runway accompanied purely by a live string quartet. Fashion genius. The sun was shining and the humidity finally at bay for what felt like a heavenly half hour that halted the city that never sleeps in its bustling tracks. Fashion elite, tourists, street vendors, passerbys, office workers all stopped to catch a glimpse of this couture delight unfolding before their eyes. The models glided down the runway in delicate designs that shone against the big apple\'s iconic concrete jungle proving it really is where dreams are made of. It was a pleasure to be able to experience Bowie\'s masterful debut to NYFW and to internationally support such a talented Australian designer.
